District nurses make a difference every day to the lives of the people they visit at home and in residential care homes. They provide increasingly complex care for patients and support for family members.
We have a team of experienced District Nurses who support the doctors in caring for patients who are temporarily or permanently housebound due to illness or disability. They are qualified nurses who are specially trained to deliver care within people’s home. This service is strictly limited to eligible patients however.
