Weight loss injections [eg Ozempic, Mounjaro] remain very restricted on the NHS and are only available to a tiny minority of obese patients in the country at present. The surgery performs regular searches to see if any of our patients with obesity might be eligible for NHS treatment with these drugs. At present, no one on our patient register does!

These medicines do remain available on the NHS for certain patients with Diabetes, however and despite a recent sharp price rise for Mounjaro in particular, this is likely to remain the case for the foreseeable future.
