Lifting of COVID Restrictions

As we gladly move towards living with Covid and in line with NHS England guidance we received yesterday, the requirement for staff and patients to wear a face covering in all healthcare settings remains. Please continue to support us in protecting our most vulnerable patients and in keeping surgery staff absence to a minimum by wearing a face covering in the surgery.

Whilst there is no longer a legal requirement for people with Covid to self-isolate, the public health advice for people with any Covid symptoms or a positive test result remains to stay at home until recovered and avoid contact with other people.

Due to the higher risk nature of healthcare settings such as ours, the advice for patients is still to please avoid attending the surgery if you have any Covid symptoms.

NHS England guidance for staff members working at the surgery has not changed, regular staff testing and staff isolation requirements continue. We must do all that we can to minimise spread within the surgery to ensure we can remain OPEN FOR ALL.

We know that a very large majority of our patients understand this and continue to work with us as we all get through this together.

Thank you for your cooperation.
